The pretext for this shoot was to create something dramatically different from the previously requested flower crown shoot at exactly the same spot! As a photographer, it is important for me to talk to the subject and put together a mood board based on what makes this person be who they are. The subject, in this case was Lola, herself an artist who frequently uses ultraviolet paint in her artworks. So blue and all shades of it became our theme. The lighting, which is a mixture of a small softbox, reflectors to harness the natural light and the post-processing was all geared to create the rendition of a daydream seen on screen.
