It isn't every day that an email arrives from Miss Cardiff! The lovely Lowri Mounter was Miss Cardiff 2015 and when she wanted to be photographed in my typical floral style, to say I was flattered would be an understatement. The day we had booked for the photoshoot offered only a half hour window because of heavy rain before and after, and there was even a mixture of rain and showers as these photographs were taken. Please don't be fooled by the lighting into thinking that we had perfect sunshine! Artificial lighting and editing of images are as much a hallmark of my portraits as any other important details like exactly the right location to find some shelter from rain!
